I took my computer into some cheap place I found on the internet. They ended up telling me it would cost me much more then they claimed to charge and kept my computer for months. All the while trying to sell me a new computer every time I called asking if they were done with my computer. I felt like all my photos were being held hostage. I got it back from them and had James come to my house to take a look at my computer. He showed me in less then 5 minutes what was wrong and even how to fix it myself if it happens again. Thanks for the quick reply. I followed your advise and deleted all of the startup programs excluding the ones for security and it has helped a lot. Start up time went from about 6 min. down to about 2. Is that close to being normal or is it still too long a time. Seems ok to me. Thanks again for your help.
